The answer isn't more content.
It's a stronger signal.
LinkedIn has become louder, faster, and more polished.
AI has made content easier to create—but it has also made it easier to sound like everyone else.
Signal Builders is designed to help you become recognizable for your thinking, not your posting frequency.
You can search for LinkedIn advice or ask AI what to post in seconds.
Signal Builders helps you see what matters, why it works, and how to use it:
Information isn’t the hard part anymore.
• Real examples from our industry
• Real people doing the work
• Practical ways to make your own signal easier to recognize
Reach isn't reserved for the biggest audiences.
A recognizable voice matters more than follower count.
People want to hear from... wait for it... PEOPLE.

QUESTIONS
-
No. Signal Builders is about becoming more recognizable, useful, and trusted, not chasing algorithms, follower counts, or posting formulas. We’ll focus on the perspective, experience, judgment, and human connection that make your presence worth recognizing.
-
No. The event was built with the promotional products, print, and branded merchandise communities in mind, but the ideas apply much more broadly. Distributors, suppliers, decorators, printers, marketers, sales professionals, business owners, and leaders who use LinkedIn to build relationships and reputation will find plenty to apply.
-
No. You might post several times a week, once every few months, or mostly watch from the sidelines wondering what you should say. You don’t need a large audience or a polished content strategy. You need a clearer understanding of what you want people to recognize and trust about you.
-
Jay is a speaker, marketer, brand strategist, and longtime member of the print and promotional products community. His work focuses on helping people and brands become more recognizable by getting clearer about the ideas, language, experiences, and perspectives that are uniquely theirs. Signal Builders grew from a belief that has become increasingly important to his work: when content becomes abundant, judgment becomes scarce.
-
PromoKitchen is an all-volunteer nonprofit serving the promotional products industry through mentorship, education, connection, and community. It was built around a simple idea: people who have learned something should pull up a chair and help someone else grow. $25 from every standard Signal Builders registration will support PromoKitchen, with a goal of raising $2,500.

What started as a little personality became a pretty good lesson in branding. Tacos are simple, recognizable, memorable, and, as Jay likes to say, containers of greatness. Turns out great brands can be too. Sometimes being remembered doesn’t require making things more complicated. It requires giving people something recognizable to hold onto.

You should leave with greater clarity about what makes your professional presence recognizable, what ideas and perspectives you want to be known for, and how to turn more of your real experience into useful LinkedIn content. You’ll also have a clearer way to think about consistency, Creator Roles, AI, and building trust over time.
What you probably won’t leave with is a magic posting schedule, guaranteed engagement formula, or promise that every post will perform. Signal Builders is designed to help you make better decisions, not become dependent on someone else’s formula.
-
Yes. We’ll use Creator Roles, real examples, and simple frameworks, including a fill-in-the-blank formula or two, to help turn your ideas and experience into useful content.
The framework gives you a starting point. Your perspective, judgment, and experience are what make it yours.
If you want AI or a template to do all the thinking for you, this probably isn’t the right training.
-
Yes! If you can’t make it live, you can still register and get the full recording. We’ll automatically send the link to all registered attendees within 24 hours after the event.
